LTA Delayed Orchard ERP Timing & Rates For Our Wedding

LTA will likely revert back to the old timing and rate after our wedding. I guess most of our wedding guests will come after 12 30pm.

Since we have passed our wedding invitation cards to almost all of our guests, we can now post it online. I have blurred the details. We have a air ticket wedding card.

Counting down to 33 days to our wedding, dear and I met up with Vanessa Orchard Hotel to discuss and finalised most of the wedding details. I think we have settled most of the details, leaving some points for our further consideration.

Fernvale Palms Progress (26 May 2012)

I ran from home to Palms again yesterday, though I took a shortcut this time. I took some photos using my Nokia phone yesterday but somehow the microsd card got corrupted.

The developer has began hoarding up the commercial development beside the Fernvale LRT. Thus, there is no direct path from Fernvale Point through the big field anymore. It is a good sign that the construction should be starting soon. However, there is no date when the development will be opened.

The progress of Palms is good. The construction of level 26 is almost completed. So, i guess the block will hit the top 27 level by mid June, faster than what I predicted. Should the rumor that the main contractor will try to hand the keys to the owners of 433B flats by end this year is true, this leaves the E&M (dry riser, lifts, sanitary water, portable water, electricity) contractors about 6 months to install and commission their systems. The main contractor will need to finsih the flooring (for owners who have bought the floorings), doors and paint the buildings.

Hopeful: Get the keys before we go for honeymoon in Dec. Pass the keys to interior designer to renovate our home. Pay for the renovation, get the keys and shift in end January. Spend our CNY in our new home.

Finalised Montage

Counting down to 37 days to wedding, I went down to Captured Moments to collect the finalised montage. Dear also drafted the reminder e mail/sms to remind our guests 1 week before the banquet.

Our Wedding With Euro 2012

9 June is our 过大礼 and also the start of Euro 2012 (Poland vs Greece). 30 June is our wedding banquet and the night will be the Final of Euro 2012.

Fernvale Palms Progress (20 May 2012)

Fernvale Palms block 433B is constructing the 26th level, so 2 more levels to the summit level. Probably, the civil construction of the block will be completed in June. Dear and I planned to visit it after our wedding to witness the completion. Someone commented that the main contractor is aiming to pass the keys to the owners of 433B by end of this year. I was told by Otis that they need only about 45 days to install a 20+ storey lift. If everything runs smoothly, there is a good chance that the flat may be ready for BCA TOP inspection.

This is the first time we realised that we can see our flat from the bus stop opposite and also the first time we went up Fernvale Residences to take a look at the progress.
