HDB just released 3 new BTO on the last day of February with 1 project just adjacent to our home. At first, I thought that it will be blocking the 533 units but the project is actually behind Fernvale Ridge instead. The layout of the 5 room flat is rather unique too, not the conventional layout for 5 room flat.
I was anxious to find out more because I wanted to estimate how much our home has appreciated. Based on an engineer's estimation, the appreciation are as follows:
- 5 doors increased approximately by $1,150
- flooring increased approximately by $1,700
- flat increased approximately by $33,800
I was hoping for eating house or mini marts or shops for the 2 new BTO projects but to my disappointment, there isn't. I just checked online that the 5 room flats are already over-subscribe by 3 times.
