Buangkok Vale Painting Works

Dear and I walked past the Buangkok Vale project yesterday and saw that the patining work for the flats have started. So, we were wondering when will the painting work for our project starts? By the way, the Buangvale Project was awarded later than the Palms project.

Fernvale Palms Progress 22 April 2012

I ran from home to Palms again yesterday. The progress of the flat is good. The main contractor is working on the construction of 24th level for our side of the block. Something interesting is that the 433B blocks are progressing faster than the 432B for the first time. So, the rumour that the main contractor will be finishing our block first may be true. However, from afar, I saw the progress of the blocks facing the road seemed to be much slower, though I am not sure if the blocks are Palms or Ridge project.

Today, I computed our total CPF ordinary account amount including our performance bonus. We have saved up 31.57% of the remaining sum of our flat.

The Joy of Motherhood

Today marks our 8 years and 1 month anniversary and 77 days counting down to our wedding. We went for the Joy of Motherhood seminar at Prudential building. The talk is about motherhood and give us a kick start to plan for our family.

We travelled to AMK hub to catch the movie The Vow. The Passion card deal is $9.50 for weekend movie now.

Coffee Shops, Minimarts and Shops In the Future (Update)

I just read online that there is a eating house at Fernvale Lodge so I updated the map showing the coffee shops, minimarts and shops in the future. Fernvale Crest is aiming to complete the project works by December 2012. We can expect to collect the keys 4 months after residents of Fernvale Crest collect their keys.

Purchase 过大礼 Basket & Pasting of 喜 Stickers (8 April 2012)

Dear and I purchased the 过大礼 basket from Nex King & King Wong. The basket will have to contain:
1. 聘金
2. 龙凤镯
3. Pig trotter cans
4. Oranges
5. Pouch w/ sweet food
6. Dragon and phoenix candles
7. Martell

We spent the afternoon pasting the 喜 stickers onto the 龙凤镯 box, pig trotter cans, martell and the dragon & phoenix candles . I guess it is good to prepare all the stuffs early so that we have more time when the days draw nearer.

Honeymoon Recee & Wedding Albums Collection (7 April 2012)

Counting down to 84 days to our wedding, dear and I travelled to Chinatown to reece about our honeymoon. Since our honeymoon is in December, all of the agencies recommended us to enquire from June onwards. We are going US for honeymoon and dear wants to visit both the east and west US.

We went to YC to collect our wedding albums after that, leaving the poster and 3-in-1 portrait with them first.

eFiling Notice of Marriage On Good Friday

Counting down to 85 days to our wedding, dear and I e-file our notice of marriage today (Good Friday). We need to go down to ROM on 26 June for verification of documents and statutory declaration.

This is mumu mum cooked lunch for us this afternoon.

89 Days To Our Wedding!

Time's ticking! I just verbally asked my colleagues and handed them the invitation cards today. So pai seh. Face red red. Hee.

Sweetest Moments Wedding Cakes

Counting down to 90 days to our wedding, Dear and I walked to Sweetest Moments to place order for the wedding cakes for 过大礼 after having breakfast at Kovan hawker.

The ROM website showed that there are already 9 couples registering for their marriage on 30 June. It is quite a handful since the application only starts 2 days back.
