Application For Wedding Preparation Course

We applied for a 1 day wedding preparation course on March. The course was only $70 in 2011. But, we were too busy to attend last year.

Found this shop selling wedding cakes. Quite cute isn't it? The good thing is the shop is actually very near my house. Why didn't I know about it? I think the package with sweets is good.

Fernvale Palms Progress - 22 Jan 2012

I ran from my home to Fernvale Palms this morning again. 433B is at level 17 now, normal progress of 2 levels per month. Based on this pace, the block will be completed in June. Hopefully, all E&M services will be completed in a year and we can receive the flats in June 2013.

Difference Between Duty Paid & DFS Hard Liquor

For those who do not know how the hotel differentiate between duty paid and DFS hard liquor, the smaller bottle on the left is duty paid liquor for our wedding lunch. It's 0.7L. The one on the right is from DFS for 过大礼. It is 1L and is cheaper than the smaller bottle.

SPH's Top Bid For The Fernvale Commercial Development

Anyone who purchased flats in Fernvale area probably never considered this commercial development until HDB release the tender for it lately. To be honest, dear and I didnt consider this too when we purchase our flat.

I guess we are lucky to have a commercial development at Fernvale. Hope it will increase the flat price too.

Viewing Pre-Wedding Photos

Counting down to 167 days to our wedding, dear and I went down to YC to view our wedding photos. I think the photos are average only. We purchased 6 additional photos which cost us $450.

We need to go down YC again to view the layout and collect the softcopy of the selected photos.

(c) 1 photo for the poster
(d) 3 photos for the 3-in-1 potrait
(e) 1 photo for the wedding invitation cards

Tender for commercial development at Fernvale Road

Land parcel at Sengkang West Ave/Fernvale Road location plan.The Housing & Development Board (HDB) has launched the tender of a commercial site at Sengkang West Avenue/Fernvale Road.

The land parcel has a site area of 8,790.3 sq m and has a maximum allowable gross floor area of 26,370.9 sq m.

The 99-year lease site is linked to the Sengkang MRT/LRT Station and Sengkang Bus Interchange and is near the Fernvale LRT Station.

HDB said the site is accessible by road and rail, and may serve as a hub for shopping, dining and entertainment.

The tender will close at 12 noon on January 17, 2012.

Oppsite of Fernvale Palms

It seemed like it is confirmed that we will have a community institution and a chinese temple oppsite our project across Sengkang West way road. It took me some time to search for the location for the minimart and shop for the new project. The minimart and shop are further away from us, along Fernvale street.

Opening of Greenwich

Dear and I visited Greenwich this evening, think it's quite a nice place to chill out. We may spent more time there when we shifted to Fernvale Palms next time.

Another Set Of Wedding Poker Cards

Dear attended a wedding lunch yesterday and the wedding favour is a cicurlar poker card, probably signifies 团圆. But the cards have little practical use as the shape makes it difficult to be shuffled.
