21 August Fernvale Palms Project

Dear and I went down to Fernvale again, to have Prawn mee breakfast and take a look at the progress of our flat. Dear commented that the Fernvale Crest progress was fast. Based on my experience working in the construction industry, I told her that civil construction can be expedite if the contractor put in the manpower.

I don't remember seeing a lot of working during the weekend for our Fernvale Palms project. But, I did see quite a handful of workers still working on the project. Let's hope that the contractor can complete the project fast.

Our block seems to be building the 6th floor now.

Fernvale Riverbow Price

HDB has released the selling price for Fernvale Riverbow. Though, I knew that Fernvale Riverbow is of a better location than our Fernvale Palms. My home has appreciated in value. :)

Renovation Phase 2 (Major) Completed

Dear and I started our room major renovation from 8 August to 12 August. We took these 4 days to white wash the wall, painting it to light blue and fixed up 3 furniture. It was very tiring, much tiring that I expected. For the 4 days, we basically worked from morning to night with an hour for meals. But, the result is definitely worth it.

Though, there are imperfections in our patining and fixing up of the furniture, it was our effort to construction a home together. : )

Increase LRT Trips for Sengkang West LRT Loop

On the Sengkang West Loop, which serves seven stops, 34 more trips will be added daily during the weekday peak hours. This will reduce waiting time from the current 4minutes to 3.2 minutes in the mornings, and from 5.3 minutes to 4 minutes during the evening peak hours.

The off-peak hours will see 33 more trips, while the weekends will see the introduction of 47 new trips - 20 for Saturdays, and 27 for Sundays and public holidays.

After doing some homework searching online, dear and I decided to engaged Captured Moments for Videography, Express Highlight and Photo Montage for our wedding lunch. We went down to the office on Sunday to discuss more details with them and paid $700 as deposit to confirm the booking.
