Fernvale Palms Progress - 26 Dec 2011

As i ran from my house to Fernvale Palms, there is no photo to show the progress. 433B is building the 15 level now. Based on current progress, I think the project will complete in around july 2013. See if my prediction will be correct.

Matching Teapot Set n Dining Set

Although we got both sets fr different places, different countries somemore, we managed to get matching sets. Gong so lihai!

Wedding Bowl and Spoon Set & Prohibited Pair of Scissors Replaced!

We bought these items at amk provision shop today. Managed to replace the scissors but still can see the torn part. The bowl and spoon set to complement the tea set we bought has defects too. Gotta go back exchange. Oh ya, we saw battery operated wedding lamps at $25. Sleek n chic. Hee.

Pre-Honeymoon - Hong Kong (Part 2)

We have also purchased some wedding stuffs back from HK as there is this shopping mall just beside Prince Edward station that sells wedding stuffs. We brought back our wedding bears, the wedding tea pot, the umbrella, wedding box, the 嫁妆 accessories and the wedding 公仔.

Pre-Honeymoon - Hong Kong

Dear and I had our pre-honeymoon at Hong Kong from 1 Dec 2011 to 5 Dec 2011. The holiday started with 2 days stay at Disneyland Hotel with 2 days pass for HK Disneyland.

After our stay at Disneyland, we moved to Tsim Sha Tsui Reegan Kowloon Hotel. We visited the Ladies Market, Ngong Ping, Peak, wax museum, Temple Street Market, Avenue of Stars, etc. We tried the various public transport in HK too, from the ferry to MTR, to open-top public bus, to normal bus and to rail guided bus.

Our Red Packet Gift Box

Dear and I are back from our pre-honeymoon (Hong Kong). I will try to upload the photos after I finish organizing the photos tomorrow.

I was thinking of having a 3 slots red packet gift box, allowing our guests to decide if they want to give their red packets to sponsor us for kid, honeymoon or our future home.

Dear and I are still waiting for YC to call us to go down to view our pre-wedding photos.

Dear and I received a $50 Robinsons voucher from the Sitex 2011 for purchasing the Canon DSLR.

So, we used the voucher to purchase our wedding bedsheet from John Little. : )

Fernvale Palms Dec 2011 & Post Photoshoot Treat

Dear and I had breakfast at Jalan Kayu this morning and visited Fernvale Palms. It had been quite sometime since we have a slack weekend. It seemed like the progress of our block has slowed down again. It is constructing the 13th floor now.

After the breakfast, we fetched our helpful cousin who has assisted us for the photoshoot to Nex for lunch.

Pre-Wedding Photoshoot

Counting down to 212 days to our wedding on 1 Dec 2011, dear and I had our pre-wedding photoshoot in the studio in the morning and outdoor in the evening. We had planned a long time for this. It was very rush, tiring and some hiccups for the day. But hope everything turns out beautiful. Looking forward to the selection day.

Yvonne Creative Final Fitting & Trial Make-up

Counting down to 216 days (27 Nov 2011) to our wedding, dear and I went down to Yvonne Creative the third time this month to do our final fitting and trial make-up. I have decided not to upload the photos of our selected gowns and suits, leaving the surprise for our bridal photo album.

This is the shop near to YC selling the helium balloons which we are using for our photoshoot. Although, the price is higher than the Bugis shops, it saved our trouble of traveling there to purchase or save up on delivery charges. Maybe, we got to ask cousin for help to purchase the helium balloons for us during the photoshoot day. Pray that it does not rain on 1 Dec 2011.

Busy Wedding Photoshoot Preparation

I felt we have been very bust these days, with lots of friends/colleagues invitation and busy preparation for our photoshoot.

It had been a long time since I last purchase a lot of clothings in Singapore. I have bought this long list.

3) Block colour red long sleeves shirt
4) Causal long sleeves shirt
5) White casual bermudas
6) Black casual bermudas
7) Black leather shoes

New Toilet Bowl Cover

I finally find the way to replace the toilet bowl cover, wasn't that difficult actually. Dear can have a new toilet seat next time.

Preparation for Pre-Wedding Photoshoot

Dear and I are so busy these few weeks, recee venues for our pre-wedding photoshoot, purchasing clothes, planning for the adminstrative stuffs, etc. Hope all turns out well.

We have 6 attires to change and 35 photos to select, which means approximate 6 photos for each attire.

1. Wedding gown (white) w/ white suit
2. Evening gown (red) w/ black suit
3. Tradition costume
4. Outdoor gown (white) w/ black suit
5. Outdoor gown (short) w/ white suit
6. Casual dress w/ casual shirt

I was actually preparing the wedding lunch programme too, guess got to leave it aside and concentrate on preparing the photoshoot, really a lot to settle.

YC 3rd Appointment

238 days counting down to our wedding (5 Nov 2011), dear and I went for YC 3rd appointment. Dear feels that YC has limited gowns for her to choose. It seemed like because it's year end marriage season, a lot of gowns are out for wedding or photoshoot too. Are we expecting too much or YC standard is too low?

After the appointment, we managed to find the famous fry-yourself Ham Ji Pan at the Maxwell market, 6 for $1.

We still need to go down for 2 more appointments before the photoshoot on 1 December.
